Who am I?

My name is Jennifer, and I'm so glad you are here. I am a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) and Muscle Response Tester (MRT). I work with people that have auto-immune conditions who are struggling with weight issues, fatigue, and sleep disturbance. We work together to improve all of those things and more using a whole-food nutrient dense diet and whole food supplements. The primary focus is on finding the right diet and supplements for YOU!

My Journey

My journey in health and wellness began in middle school with a passion for exercise. That passion continued into adulthood where, in 2011, I got a Personal Trainer's certification from NASM and started training clients. I went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, and Weight Loss and Corrective Exercise Certifications. As I continued to train people, I realized that often people would follow a diet and exercise plan, but their body composition would not change. When I looked at the whole picture, I discovered that there were often underlying issues that affected their health. So I began researching how to help them.

Combine that with my personal journey of joint pain and inflammation despite a pretty healthy diet, exercise and lifestyle. Several doctors later, some prescriptions, and an "I don't know what it is" diagnosis, I looked for a more holistic solution. This led me to an FNTP/MRT who created a personalized plan to reduce inflammation and balanced out my body which reduced my joint pain and improved my health and sleep.

That was the connection I had been looking for. If Functional Nutritional Therapy and MRT helped me, why wouldn't it help my exercise clients as well?

This prompted me to get my FNTP certification and learn MRT. Today I work with auto-immune clients to improve body composition, reduce inflammation, decrease symptoms of depression, improve sleep quality and increase energy through the use of a whole food, nutrient dense diet and whole food supplements so that they can be fully engaged, mentally and physically, in their lives!
